Serving the Taste of Tradition Since 1965

From our founder's vision to your plate – Waleema House has been Lahore's celebration table for generations.

Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq Butt - Founder of Waleema House

Our Story

In 1965, our founder, Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq Butt, opened Waleema House with a simple vision – to bring the joy and flavours of a traditional wedding feast to everyone, every day.

In those times, grand Waleema meals were a cherished part of life. The name Waleema House came naturally – a nod to these celebrations and the special dishes that made them unforgettable. What began as a humble idea quickly became a beloved Lahore tradition, passed from one generation to the next.

The Taste of Tradition

For over half a century, our kitchen has served the same timeless recipes that made us famous. Each dish carries the aroma, taste, and authenticity of the Waleema table.

Our Signature Dishes:

Mutton Roast
Palak Gosht

Three Generations, One Table

Over the years, we've had the honour of serving three generations of families. Grandfathers who once dined here now return with their children and grandchildren – reliving their own Waleema memories, one plate at a time.

For many, stepping into Waleema House feels like stepping back into their own family celebration.

Crafted with Care Since Day One

Every dish is prepared fresh in our kitchen, using meat delivered daily by our own trusted butcher. The preparation starts each morning, with careful selection and cutting done on-site.

Many of our team members have been with us for over 40 years, preserving the same flavours, techniques, and dedication that built our name.

When to Visit

We welcome you daily from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM – just in time for our fresh morning cooking to be ready for your table.

Come Be Part of the Legacy

Whether it's your first visit or a return to cherished memories, Waleema House invites you to savour the tradition, taste, and warmth that have defined us since 1965.
